An amazing piece of history... what was seen through these spectacles... found in Brandywine I suppose they are from a northern soldier... made sometime during the 1860's .. They are in wonderful condition, no broken glass, wires are bent a bit but I would be if I was over 150 years old too ! Such a lovely addition to one outfit, costume or conversation piece.. They measure 4 1/2" from outer edge to edge, bridge is 5/8 innner.. Wire arms are 6" total but show bends at approx 4"... Can be stretched a tad but not for a wider head I think... So cool ~
